Jeddah Tower Passes 450 Metres, Edging Toward World’s Tallest Title

Jeddah Tower has reached a height of 454 metres across 113 floors, according to Saudi Binladin Group senior executive Ian Norman Miller, surpassing Malaysia’s Petronas Towers to continue its climb toward becoming the world’s tallest building. Construction resumed on the 1,000-metre super-skyscraper following a SAR7.2 billion agreement between Jeddah Economic Company and Saudi Binladin Group, after work had previously stalled with only 63 of the planned 157 floors complete. Once finished, expected in 2028, the tower will include apartments, offices, and a Four Seasons hotel.
